Problem

Find the complement of the angle \(\frac{7\pi}{6}\) in radian measure.

Solution

Step 1 :Recall that two angles are complementary if their sum is \(\frac{\pi}{2}\) or 90 degrees. So, to find the complement of the angle \(\frac{7\pi}{6}\), we subtract this angle from \(\frac{\pi}{2}\).

Step 2 :\(\frac{\pi}{2} - \frac{7\pi}{6} = -\frac{1\pi}{3}\)

Step 3 :Since the radian measure of an angle cannot be negative, the complement of the angle \(\frac{7\pi}{6}\) does not exist.
