Solution

Step 1 :\( (AC)^{2}=(AB)^{2}+(BC)^{2} \)

Step 2 :\( (AD)^{2}+(BD)^{2}=(DC)^{2}+(BD)^{2} \)

Step 3 :\( (BD)^{2}=AD \times DC \)
